Our core engineering philosophy is Privacy by Design: this application operates locally on your device, requires no user accounts, and never uploads your personal files or data to remote servers.
1. Overview & 100% On-Device Processing
- No Accounts or Logins: We do NOT require user registration, accounts, email addresses, phone numbers, passwords, or personal profiles. If you make an in-app purchase or manage a subscription, any Google account authentication or Google Pay login is managed natively and securely by Google Play services; your accounts are not managed by our app, and Karbol Software never receives or stores your Google account credentials.
- Zero Media / Content Uploads: All operations execute 100% locally on your personal device.
- No Data Harvesting: Your data are never uploaded to our servers, tracked, or shared with third parties.
2. Device Permissions
This application requests only standard, minimal Android/iOS permissions strictly required to deliver its core functionality:
- Internet Access (
android.permission.INTERNET): Used exclusively to load advertisements (for free-tier users via Google Mobile Ads) and to communicate securely with Google Play Billing for in-app purchases.
- No Sensitive Permissions: We explicitly strip and do not request intrusive hardware permissions such as camera, microphone, contacts, location GPS, or background audio.
3. Third-Party Services & Monetization
We do not collect personal identification information directly. To sustain continuous development and offer free access to this application, we monetize through:
- Google Mobile Ads (AdMob): Free-tier users may see banner, interstitial, or rewarded advertisements. AdMob may process device-level identifiers (such as the Android Advertising ID / GAID), general coarse location, and ad interaction data in compliance with Google’s Privacy Policy.
- Google Play In-App Billing (Subscriptions & Lifetime / Full Plans): This application may offer optional premium upgrades (such as yearly subscriptions or one-time lifetime / full unlock plans) to remove advertisements or unlock features. All payment processing, authentication, and transactions are handled natively by Google Play. Karbol Software never receives, processes, or stores your credit card details, banking credentials, or billing addresses.
4. Children’s Privacy
This application is intended for a general audience and complies with Google Play Families and COPPA regulations. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under the age of 13.
5. Security & Data Retention
Because all application logic, user preferences, and local data remain strictly on your personal device, you retain full ownership and control over your data. Clearing app cache or uninstalling the app permanently removes all local data.
